I build these to outlast me. So I back them for as long as you own them.

What's covered

If the stitching fails, a zipper breaks, a snap pulls through, or the hardware gives out — I'll repair it or replace it. Free. No time limit, no receipt hunting, no arguing about whether you've had it too long.

What's not covered

Normal wear. Leather is supposed to age — scuffs, creases, and patina are the point, not a defect. Crash damage, fire, and modifications by someone else aren't covered either, though get in touch anyway and I'll tell you what I can do.

How to claim

Email jay@frickinleather.com with a photo and a sentence about what happened. That's the whole process. I'll tell you where to send it and cover the shipping.

Why I do this

I've bought lots of leather in my 50 years of riding. I watched jackets come apart at the seams inside two seasons. So when I built my own, I built it to a standard I'd stand behind forever — and then I put that in writing.

This will be your leather now, your son's leather soon, and your grandson's eventually. I mean that literally.
